ค้นคว้าวิจัย
"Research
Square"
ณ ชั้น
5
อาคารเทพรัตน์วิทยาโชติ ซึ่งกำหนดไว้เป็นเขต
งดใช้เสียง (Quiet Zone)
โดยประกอบด้วยที่นั่งอ่านเดี่ยวจำนวน 114
ที่นั่ง ห้องศึกษากลุ่มขนาด
16 ที่นั่ง 1 ห้อง
ห้องศึกษากลุ่มขนาด 6 ที่นั่ง 2
ห้อง
รองรับเฉพาะนิสิตระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา
อาจารย์ นักวิจัย
ของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
พร้อมกับได้จัดเตรียมบรรณารักษ์คอยให้
บริการสนับสนุนการทำวิจัย เช่น สืบค้นข้อมูลประกอบการวิจัย
ให้คำแนะนำการเขียนเอกสาร
อ้างอิง ปรึกษาการใช้สถิติในงานวิจัย เป็นต้น
ผู้ที่ประสงค์เข้าใช้บริการจะต้องยืม key card
จากจุดบริการยืมคอมพิวเตอร์พกพา
เพื่อเข้าออกและใช้บริการพื้นที่ส่วนนี้
โดยใช้ได้นาน
ครั้งละ 3 ชั่วโมงและสามารถต่อเวลาใช้บริการได้

บริการในส่วนนี้ได้รับความนิยมจากนิสิตระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาเป็นจำนวนมาก
ทั้งนิสิตชาวไทยและนิสิตต่างชาติที่เข้ามาศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
In
early September 2009, the Library, Kasetsart University—Main Campus
has offered to its users a new service, Research Square. Research
Square is arranged
on the 5th floor of Thepparatwitthayachote Building as a quiet
zone. As its name suggests,
Research Square is meant to be used for research purpose. In
addition to three study rooms
for small and medium group study, Research Square also provides an
open study area with
114 seats which can accommodate notebook computers users. To serve
the special function
of Research Square, the Library defines some restrictions on use,
for instance, a key card for
a 3-hour use is required to enter Research Square, and, of course,
food, drink and loud noises
are not permitted. Observations show that the new service has been
very well received.
Informal interviews of users also reveal favorable responses and
high level of satisfaction.
